What if the film put aside the way of expressing with this rational time distance? why not. Humans have not always looked at the world from a rational point of view. If human behavior can be measured by rationality, how to explain absurdity, such as war, hatred, and love. Society is inherently conflicting, contradictory, intertwined, and logic and reason are included in it, but not all. Understanding is more than reasoning.
The director didn't tell the whole story. He reproduces a story that may be logical, thus constructing an illogical picture of synchronicity. However, it is worth noting that he did not deny the importance of the process, but the history in his image was by no means an inorganic single-line evolutionary history.
