shocking, unique

The shock that brings people does not even know where to start, no wonder Bergman admired this film in his later years.
Three paragraphs can start each other, and each paragraph contains the plot before and after the other two paragraphs...the past and future of its own paragraph. The entire film is contained within a delicate logic and philosophy. That's what Bergman sees.
Depicting an ancient, war-torn, newly independent, slaughtered land, but it's love that moves people. Putting love in the most painful and cruel way reveals a kind of hope. Hatred repeats itself, but there will always be someone to change it. The next circle will be different from the previous one. Those sacrifices of life will change the circle. I didn't talk about it, but used the structure to express it! so amazing! ! !
The language of the lens is mature and plain. No tricks, just use the most emotional lens. This is similar to Bergman.
All the conditions come together and become a one-of-a-kind film that cannot be replicated. Not even the director himself can reach the same heights.
PS: There is so much to ponder about structure, there is no Antonioni-style doubt here, no talk of nothingness. There is a certainty that the cycle of life moves forward. The embodiment of philosophical concepts in the film is probably here, and the influence is infiltrated from the beginning of the director's creation. It is not the embodiment of the process, it cannot be learned, and it cannot be imitated.
