When we know that we have little time left, how do we choose to live?
Another anime movie that was misled by the title of the movie.
"I Want to Eat Your Pancreas" at first I thought it was similar to the anime "Miss Sakurako's Feet Buried with a Corpse", which was a bit dark and scary. However, when I was patient and watched it, I found out that this is a youthful and pure love animation.
It seems that I am going further and further on the road of treating "Yu" myself...
01 ——A life as gorgeous as fireworks
Death is not scary, what is scary is the change in the attitude of people around you to face death.
Yamauchi Sakura knew that he was ill and that he didn't have much time to give birth. But she just wanted to live like an ordinary person. So she didn't tell her friends about her condition.
She is beautiful, she is cheerful, she is youthful. When she sees injustice, she will stand out bravely; when she learns that she can be discharged from the hospital, she will be excited to do what she wants to do.
She knows her life is short, but she cherishes it.
Without the verdict of death, no one knows where their end is.
Shiga Haruki 's name is the same as his own, as if hiding behind a mist.
He has no friends and is always alone, with books as company. Like an ancient tree, it grows quietly in its own world; it also feels like seawater without a wave, it does not flow to the shore, and it refuses others to cross the line.
Obviously at such a young and sunny age, and there is still a lot of time in his life, he locked himself up in advance.
02 ——The encounter of mutual redemption
A diary that records Yamauchi Sakura's daily life and heart since he fell ill, and it also makes the two parallel lines begin to intersect.
Wuxin flipped through the diary and learned that Ying Liang was ill, and Haruki did not have the same comfort or surprise or "hypocritical" concern as the others. (Vocabulary: Temporarily rated as a straight male reaction.)
This attitude just aroused Sakura's curiosity. Because Yingliang's mother knew about her daughter's illness, she always chose to avoid talking about it, or looked at her with melancholy eyes; because Yingliang's friends didn't know her illness, she had a lot of thoughts and couldn't say it.
I think, before meeting Haruki, Sakura was lonely inside.
Under the two people's slow communication and contact, Ying Liang's fearlessness in the face of the disease, and her lively and cheerful personality attracts and influences Haruki.
This originally cautious and self-conscious young man gradually opened his heart.
Haruki accepted the chewing gum thrown by Mr. Miyata Ichiharu; prompted by Sakurayo's wish, he and Takimoto Kyoko also became friends, and they kept making appointments to see Sakurayo.
As for Ying Liang, since meeting Haruki. She also did a lot of things she wanted to try and had someone to pour out on.
Being with Haruki was the most comfortable, relaxed and full of anticipation time in her life.
03 - The way of looking at life
There will always be things like this in life, because we grew up in different environments, because our personalities are different, so our choices are also different.
When faced with the maliciousness that appeared, most of the people, like Haruki's choice, turned a blind eye to one thing more than one thing; but Yingliang stood up angrily, grieved the grandmother, and taught the bullies who bullied others, which also inspired The sense of justice in the hearts of bystanders.
In fact, many things, we do not know right or wrong?
all know.
It's just that we have grown up, and we have all been smoothed out by life and learned the technique of invisibility.
When Ying Liang was sick and hospitalized, the classmates guessed that it was because of Mr. Haruki's tracking.
In the face of this matter, Haruki felt that it was because he was always with Ying Liang, so everyone made random guesses;
But Ying Liang told Haruki, "It's because you haven't communicated with everyone seriously. If you explain it well, everyone will understand such an interesting thing."
The people at the center of the speech do not explain, and the people who make the speech do not understand, and misunderstandings arise.
Don't choose to escape because you are afraid; don't speculate because you don't understand.
To get along with people is to step forward with each other.
04 - The last of the last
"I Want to Eat Your Pancreas" made me see a lot of the shadows of the anime I saw before.
It is somewhat similar to "April Is Your Lie", in which the heroine is on the verge of death and breaks through herself to try. The difference is that one is transforming and releasing; the other is wanting to indulge and hiding.
It is a bit similar to the plot of "Fireworks". When the fireworks bloom, the heroines are also gorgeous like fireworks, but they disappear in the end. The difference is, a brief farewell; a permanent departure.
In addition, the film score is not high, maybe some of the plots are quite inexplicable to some people.
For example, Sakura's death at the end.
Why not arrange for a natural death?
We already know that her time is short, so why not let her meet Haruki again?
Why not make the time she only has a little more splendid?
It's really tomorrow and the accident no one can tell.
It was just a pity for Ying Liang, who was already suffering from illness, and finally got a fatal result.
Maybe this is the reality. It feels real and sad.
When we know that we have little time left, how do we choose to live?
Is it to bemoan every day and count the time?
Just have fun and do what you want to do.
Until that moment, no one has an answer.

"I Want to Eat Your Pancreas" may not have the so-called empathy, or if it is very immersive to watch, it may feel like a fireworks show in the afternoon, and it is over after watching it.
