First of all, this is a comedy. Although it is an absurd black comedy, it is still mainly a comedy, not a pure action movie like Taken. In fact, there is basically no action scene in this film except for shooting a gun and simply throwing a fist. But it's still worth watching because of the film's dark sense of humor.
The most reminiscent of this film is the "Fargo", which is almost a routine. A homicide occurred in an icy and snowy place. In the end, it snowballed into many absurd homicides. . . The bad guys are vicious but stupid, and then there is a female police detective who follows along. However, the female police detectives in this film are almost decorations, and have no effect. The main focus is on Uncle Snow Shovel starred by Liam Neeson. While shoveling snow, she also deliberately or unintentionally eradicated many local bullies.
What's interesting is that for every person who dies in the film, a black screen of RIP will appear, with the character's name and his nickname on the rivers and lakes written on it. Then the whole movie kept showing a black screen like this, countless people died, and finally created a comedic effect. At the end, people couldn't help laughing when they saw this black screen again.
The character of Liam Neeson has worked very hard to be cool, and he is the only character in the film with no laughs, but the environment he is in is really laughable. Both gangs have many funny characters who look very vicious but are little pink in private. There are not many female characters in the film, but each is more "man" than a man.
Violent scenes are very frequent, making people fully feel that this savage environment, human lives are as cheap as grass. However, the affection between a little boy and Uncle Snow Shovel in the film is the only warm presence in this ice world. Because it is a revenge movie, Sanguan is definitely not online, but it also expresses the irony of life.
