"As Long as Together" is not the most representative work of Claude Berry, and it may have to be at the back of the line, but I guess, this is a film he made for himself. Although adapted from Anna Garvarda's novel, the delicate storyline favors 'love', but for Claude Berry, who is 72 years old this year, love and loneliness must be his most important the topic you want to talk about.
I would like to recommend this film for five reasons.
1 Director: Claude Berry
Exactly, this one does not count. Just Google it, and you'll see that my comments on him are too shallow. Maybe my trick is called the celebrity effect, the movie directed by Claude Berry, check it out.
This legendary figure, known as the godfather of French cinema, is not only a dazzling starlight in front of the stage, but also a street light for countless night pedestrians behind the stage. Those directors, actors, photographers, and painters who are famous and can attract applause when they hear their voices have all benefited from this old man whose works are as famous as his character.
I still want to say that, I saw Claude Berry's sad heart. Like the old man Pollit, who lived alone in the play, he was wrapped in love, but the lingering loneliness was real. . This industrious man, who was not lucky in the beginning, achieved greatness, but was rejected by the French film world. Those who are qualified to speak will definitely say, "We have been standing at the door waiting for him to come in." As a result, when Claude Berry left, this lie became the most beautiful promise. Claude Berry didn't feel it was strange to be alone.
2 The character
likes Philip who stutters in the play. I like it very much. This is an example of a good man. It's good to have a good look and a good heart, but once you can't satisfy all your wishes, you can take advantage of it and treat you with sincerity. That's the kingly way.
Philip is not stupid, Philip is not cowardly, and Philip is not vulnerable. Philip is a single nobleman. Philip knows what kind of woman he loves. Philip treats his friends with sincerity. Philip has the ability to be a successful person. how about it? Would you give up such a man just because he stuttered? No smart girl would do that.
Of course, in this show, Philip is only a supporting character, Camille is only friends with him, his Snow White is someone else, and, as a result, the hero is a beauty. So I have no regrets, and I have no regrets watching the film.
3 Humorous dialogue and delicate emotions
I like the French humor, and for me, the French way of thinking is the nest of humor. Funny skills, almost all directors can grasp, and the performance brings a sense of joy, in addition to dialogue, use casual body language to point the audience's laughter, which seems to have become a French actor's specialty.
There are many details in this play, and the excerpts are very exciting. The house left by Philip’s grandmother is even bigger than Camille’s nest in one bathroom. Philip’s picnic tableware is engraved with the “family crest” representing the family, and the Russian cotton hat on Camille is also from his grandfather. This idiot is definitely a descendant of aristocrats. Besides, Philip corrected Frank's grammar and said goodbye to Camille that he didn't work at the museum, all of which showed his honesty and reliability. What moved people was that Philip made medicinal porridge for Camille, which was not an ordinary thoughtful thought. When Camille painted him, he put down the book, told history at will, and sat upright as a good man. Frank's grandmother really looks like my grandmother, as well as your grandmother? The old people are all old children. Don't be angry with them. It will only make them feel wronged and cry. Even if they are stubborn and sensitive, you should coax them. It turns out that the old people are the most afraid of loneliness.
4 A very good couple
Audrey Tatoo and Guillaume Cane, a woman with an unruly man, half a wandering heart finds the other half a lonely heart, this is what love can burn in candlelight Conditions, slowly ambiguous, burning roaringly. They perfectly interpreted the love between Camille and Frank, from the magnetic repulsion to "only sleeping, not falling in love", to the last five or six minutes of chemical changes. Even if he was laughed at for this childish touch, it was worth it. I have never experienced an Oolong love affair that is unclear, and the closer it gets, the more interesting it is to watch the love entanglement in the play.
5 Writer: Anna Garvarda
Born in Paris, France in 1970, she is a best-selling contemporary French writer. Characters full of characters, delicate touches, and life stories that resonate, intertwined to form Anna Gavarda's style. I think she is an attractive writer. At the age of 24, she entered the French Ministry of Education as a literature professor. At the age of 29, she published her debut novel "I Wish Someone Waited for Me Somewhere". In the end, it was an unexpected success. An ordinary female teacher who has nothing to do with the literary world has become a well-known and popular writer, and the story of Cinderella is staged again, as if this dramatic story should belong to her, like her words, different but with affinity with a violent explosion.
