Moscow does not believe in tears but in love. Russian and German films are best at conveying their own history, but this film, which has been free from politics and spanned sixteen years, gently tells the life story of people maintaining contact through non-malicious lies and concealment. It's just that the climax of the second half is too hasty and simple and has unnecessary bad humor; but the beautiful Soviet music, especially the ending "Alexander", touched me how much.
