Season 4 of Rick and Morty is over and I miss it.
After watching the last episode of the fourth season, I didn't particularly like it, and the main line of the evil Modi that everyone expected did not appear in this season. There are four favorite episodes in this season: E02 Toilet and Loneliness, E04 Shadow Hand Flush, E06 Deconstruction Story, E08 Acid Pool
E02 Toilet and loneliness : a well-received episode, I really like it because I can see a little bit of sadness at the end
E04 Shadow Hand Chong : Everyone doesn't like it very much, I think it's not bad, mainly because the translation of Shadow Hand Chong hit my point
E06 Deconstructing the Story : The most surprising episode of the fourth season, I was reading "Story" at the time, and this episode was deconstructing the story.
E08 Acid Pool : A funny episode, mainly because the idea of the acid pool is so funny.
I remember when I was waiting for the first episode, I was looking forward to it. After watching the first episode, I was slightly disappointed, and it felt nothing special. But now that I think about it, after all, the first three seasons were watched at one time, of course, I can see a lot of satisfactory EPs in a short period of time, which is definitely different from the mentality of chasing dramas. So I was thinking, why do I love R&M so much? Or what makes this show so special?
- It's "cool" , such as how Rick the Pickle turned into Iron Man with his sky-defying abilities, such as Get Schwifty in the giant episode, such as Rick sending Adolf out just to suck hi, such as beating Obama. Rick's don't give a fuck character is very cool.
- It can write really good stories . Such as the episode of Dogs and Inception, such as the episode where Rick turned over the Galactic Federation by himself, such as the episode of the simulation cabin. This dimension is very similar to Secret Nine, which can put a delicate story into 30 minutes.
- It's imaginative . For example, in the episode of splitting time and space, the screen is divided into 32 equal parts, such as those in multi-dimensional TV.
- Most importantly: it can sometimes give supernatural sets. Such as the episode of S02E04 Poop Hole, such as S03E07 Ruicheng Story, such as S04E06 Deconstruction Story. These are the three best episodes in my opinion.
So, don't put too much pressure on the crew, the evil Modi will appear again in the future, and I believe the crew can surprise us again. Although it will take another two years. . .
I personally think Rick and Morty are the pinnacle of American pop culture.
