De Quincy expounded that murder scene of Shakespeare's
in his < On Murder Considered as One of the Fine Arts>.Perhaps that's where Jorge Luis Borges got inspiration. Therefore he said”To murder somebody, simply means to efface a face from the world.” That's what I'm thinking about when I was watching,You can peep into those Cruel pictures and find the flame of lust is flickering. The struggle of love and suspicion. The leading actress was a homely girl. She was afraid of her BF had been tired of her(appearance and body).Everytime he talked to female lead her to fury and hysteria, she keep saying: “Sorry about the same face and body which made you sick of.” However, her boy was actually quite faithful and loved her comparatively ordinary looking. But us who watched her illusion and crazy movement could understand. We all afraid of the loss of love, the laspe of time, the changes, even just a tiny bit, of our loved ones. Then she decided to take a cosmetic surgery which simply means to change a face completely without telling her boyfriend. So there she goes, Done with the surgery and just disapeared suddenly. Her BF was deeply grieved when he found out she had gone with no reason .(Ofcourse he didn't know that she went to take a surgery.)And times flied, nearly 1 year had been past and the actress came back to her BF's life as a completely stranger with the new extraordinary charming looking.Sadly for her , She found out that the man was still in love with her previous identity (ie: the comparatively ordinary and ugly looking. The homely one.) Even she tried to tempt and seduce him, it is obvious that he still couldn't forget the girl who is actually herself, and here goes the climax of this movie. Us, as the audience can now really grasp the firm sense of ironic tone now. The jealousy of herself made her into immense mistery, and it out the whole tragedy was prescribed, directed and preformed all by herself. As I mentioned a quote at the beginning, here goes something aside of that, Heraclitus once said "It would not be better if things happened to men just as they wish.". Perhaps We can take it as Oscar Wild said "In this world there are only two tragedies. One is not getting what one wants, and the other is getting it."
