An old movie, a chatty love story.
The whole movie is so titled, it's a conversation between a man and a woman from beginning to end. They meet at a wedding, and the man hands over a glass of wine to start a conversation that lasts until the next morning. At first, chatting, flirting and dancing like ordinary men and women who met for the first time seemed to fall in love so naturally. Then the two sides explained the current situation. One has a 23-year-old girlfriend and the other has a husband who is a cardiologist. It seems that the outcome is not good. Finally, when the conversation continued into the hotel room, the man and woman who needed to start a conversation with the most cliché turned out to be grudges about the divorce! It's no wonder that when talking about their current situation, they look forward to each other's jealous and tangled tone.
A night of dialogue in the film made a pair of resentful couples from temptation to tease to inner confession. They used the dialogue to make everyone feel that their unease about the current situation and the memory of the past contributed to this strange encounter.
The memories lie in the scenes of their real first encounter that are repeatedly depicted in the dialogue. When flirting, when teasing, and when they confess their hearts, there are three similar and slightly different encounters in three situations. The unease is that the heroine repeatedly said that she is very happy, very happy, of course happy, but over and over again, it is more and more doubts and uncertainties.
On the rooftop of the hotel in the early morning, they tried to let go of the past and open up their hearts. The male protagonist wanted to start this relationship again. He confessed:
If the cardiologist thinks that you are old and senile, ugly and not cute at all, I am willing to accompany you through the end of your life.
Heroine's Comments: Very romantic.
The male protagonist said that when we are very old, we will die together. We'd eat poison like Romeo and Juliet and our hearts would stop beating together.
The heroine complained: The truth is that I took fake poison, woke up and found you dead, then I didn't want to kill myself, and decided to go to my doctor husband
Look, there's no play!
The heroine finally packed her luggage and got on the taxi to the airport. I think she should be very moved, and even had the urge to stay, but she still chose to run to London, to her husband and new family.
I really like the sub-shot at the end. On the same timeline, the male and female protagonists are sitting in two different taxis and talking to the taxi driver respectively. The words of the four people overlap, which is strange and fitting. Slowly the shots merged into one, it seems that the two protagonists are sitting in the same car, but they already have the farthest distance.
Therefore, the plot is very cliché, the structure is gorgeous, and the technique is very unique, and it is worth watching.
