"Mystery"

Also called "The Dark Lord". It is a film directed by Scott in 1985.

A fairy tale. It's not the adult fairy tales we usually call "Harry Potter", but the real children's fairy tales. Maybe it's Scott trying to direct different styles of film. It's a pity that I didn't choose a good script. There are too few classic fairy tale themes such as "Little Red Riding Hood" and "Cinderella".

The film tells the story of a dark lord trying to take away the light of the world, and two lovers fighting against this lord. In the end, justice must triumph over evil.

As always, Scott is pursuing beautiful images in his films. This film seems to be all done in a studio, with mountains, rivers, forests, trees, and bridges, the pictures are naturally beautiful, and the artificial traces are also heavy. Suitable for children who cannot understand the plot.

As for me, this movie is a good hypnotic, not a joke, it's really falling asleep. So I dare not comment on this movie. Lest friends sleep with me.

The actors can talk about it. The actor of the film is played by Tom Cruise. Young and middle-aged friends nowadays are deeply affectionate for Brother Tang. I am not. His movies are generally too floating and lack depth. His performance is slightly exaggerated and I don't like it.

The wizard who played the face of the child was David Bennett. Originally thought he was a child star, but later found out the mistake after checking. When he was nineteen years old, he was less than 150cm tall, so he was a special actor. Not handsome, but very characteristic. Starring in "Tin Drum", a very good movie. He was just thirteen years old at that time. I personally like this movie very much.

There is nothing else to say. In my rating of 5.5. Take the children’s score of 7.0.
