... I
had to download it and watch it, it didn't feel good.
The plot is too rough, there are surprisingly many loopholes, and the lines are not good, which seriously affected my previous expectations for it.
At first, I wondered if the movie was selling dog meat. During the promotion, it kept saying how wonderful the fighting was, and it was still a long shootout until the last 10 minutes.
Fortunately, I finally saw the fighting, and the fight was really sturdy.
Donnie Yen's movements have a simple and fierce wild beauty, they are crisp and refreshing, and they are really good-looking.
However, when the three Vietnamese old mothers suddenly appeared out of nowhere, it was a shock, and the emotions that were finally mobilized shrank back.
I really don't want to comment on the plot, it's not as good as "The True Color of a Man", at least "The True Color of a Man" has a clear narrative line.
Fighting is still great, but I feel that only Donnie Yen can feel it, and so many old actors who can fight have made green leaves, which seems a bit monotonous.
And Gu Tianle, the so-called protagonist, didn't see where the protagonist was at all, except that he was still alive after being beaten, bumped, and shot. He didn't see his weight at all.
In general, it's better to abandon the plot and just watch the fight scenes, so that you don't feel that the plot is vulgar, and you can concentrate more on the exciting fight scenes.
I still miss "Slaying the Wolf".
