When it first came out, the score was quite high, plus it was a theme I liked and there was Li Zhenyu who I liked very much, so I was looking forward to it. It's a pity that such a good subject matter, but the performance is mediocre, obviously the pattern can be very big, focusing on the human nature in the apocalypse, but in the end, it returns to the Korean drama routine like a small fight.
Where do so many good and evil come from under the apocalypse, Korean TV dramas and movies seem to tend to set the military as villains, and the soldiers are just human beings. In addition, I recently rewatched "Attack on Titan", which is even more insightful. If the motives of the military's actions are inserted (they are not inhuman, they just have to sacrifice something for the sake of all mankind), instead of being confined to the building, I believe the whole drama conflict will be stronger. And why did the wheelchair uncle know from the beginning that monsters can't be killed? Know that monsters make noise when approaching? There is no pit filling at all, I understand it is a random change, but these key information still have to be explained. If it will be revealed in the second season, then at least it will be a foreshadowing.
If you look closely at the plot, there are really a lot of bugs, and the motives of character behavior are often unclear and unreasonable:
1. The end is coming, and the president is dead. I don't see real despair in the eyes of these people, and they are worried that some parents are short-sighted. A guy needs sunscreen? ? Are you worried that your skin will rot if you don't take a bath? come on! Doomsday! The most normal should be despair and fear and desperate want to live, right?
2. Is human nature so brilliant? Everyone who is about to become a monster is not afraid of death, except for the uncle of the grocery store at the beginning (the uncle played the super cute uncle in "Living in Cheongdam-dong"!), but everyone has to sacrifice themselves one after another? I'm also looking forward to someone who doesn't dare to speak out of fear of death and then quietly transforms. There are still so many people who did not drive away the male protagonist in anonymous voting. I thought that many people were infected, but it turned out that everyone was kind? ? Hmm... the kindness under the apocalypse seems too suspended and unreasonable.
And the scene of the death of the kindergarten director's daughter, what other people thought was the cold blood of the glasses brother? ? No one blames the director of the garden on his own initiative to open the door, will it bring danger to everyone? After all, the setting is that there are monsters outside the building. Like the movie "The Mist" with a similar setting, it is also an unknown monster. It is more reasonable for others to treat the person who said they are going to find their daughter.
3. Why did the last of the same kind shoot to kill? I really don't understand here, didn't the actor say that he wants to go with him? And you are a monster, what gun do you use to directly stretch out tentacles like branches to kill other people!
4. I personally feel that the shaping of the male lead is quite a failure. I don't know what he wants to do, and keep his face all day. I can't understand the change in his heart, how did he change from despair to committing suicide, to protecting others, and finally to leave them because he said a few words and saw other people burning monsters? It feels like a tool to promote the plot, and several supporting characters are better than him.
5. When Brother Dao died, he was so pissed at me! Why is everyone else just watching the fun? ? This offline arrangement is too far-fetched.
Finally, focus on criticizing the rhythm of the film. What are all those slow motions for? ? Everything is shown in slow motion, monsters and blood plasma are shown in slow motion, characters are shocked in slow motion, sensationalize in slow motion... It's very tiring to see. Adding inappropriate soundtracks at inappropriate times, insisting on burning, embarrassing people watching.
Then there are the favorite places:
1. The most amazing thing is the muscles of the firefighter sister! Absolutely! Finally joined the military camp, looking forward to the great activity of the second season!
2. Then there is Li Zhenyu, ah, the scar on the face can't stop the charm! So handsome! In the end, it should be possessed, and the scar on his face is gone. In the second season, the seal can be lifted to restore his handsomeness!
3. The glasses brother also performed very well, and finally seems to have recovered, looking forward to the performance of the second season. I feel that the calmness he has shown this season is not complicated enough. If he can show more of his inner fear and despair, and continue to force himself to calm down and lead others, then this role will be more attractive.
Other small spit: Woo why do you want to kill Miss Asthma? ? Her relationship with Li Zhenyu is the most beautiful and the most traceable. In the end, Li Zhenyu quit smoking for her.
