The ending in the play is perfect, but the ending outside the play is full of regrets. Sarah and Charles, Anna and Mike, the two people in and out of the play, took two completely different paths. Love is too easy and natural. The sentence "I really envy you" expresses Anna's true heart. Obviously, Anna also fell in love with Mike, but if she can't get out in time, it will be a misfortune for the two families. The French lieutenant's woman, the lieutenant did not appear, Sarah lived in her own world, enduring the world's gossip, just to wait for that moment to bloom.
