reality and human nature

A humble plumber refuses to steal or destroy public property like the neighbors around him. In his heart, he still maintains the morality of a kind person, under that kind of system that distorts human nature. He disregarded his wife's objections, the indifference of his neighbors or even verbal and physical blows, and the coercion and oppression of government officials. In the process, government officials blamed each other and framed each other. In the end, the officials did not evacuate, but the humble plumber used his own strength to evacuate the neighbors who were still in the building that was about to collapse. His ambition is commendable! Recently, I came into contact with some real examples. Mengmeng found that people's growth will lose their edges and corners due to the pressure of survival, and become very realistic, but their original intentions can only be buried deep in their hearts or even disappear. Is such growth really a price necessary for survival? Is such growth really conducive to the continuous progress of our entire human community?
