It's another movie story of an unforeseen event that happened at the party. Overnight, the earth turned upside down.
Or nothing has changed, the ugly people are still so ugly, and the harm that the innocent people have suffered cannot be regarded as never happening.
This movie is rare in my film list. I rarely watch Nordic movies, but in my impression, their movie style should be plain and deep, and like distant stars, flashing and flashing, dotted in the deep blue night sky. The night sky is not too dark, it is just a simple tone, simply hanging in our eyes. This time, the movie watching experience is exactly like this.
I remember that I watched a documentary about the use of film and digital cameras in movies. They have their own fans. This film is the first film used for film shooting during the development of the camera. If I didn’t If you remember wrong. That was the first time I heard about this film, and today is the first time I have watched this film.
The development of the film is straightforward, and the children rush home from all over to attend the 60th birthday party hosted by their father. The three brothers and sisters get along well, and you can't see anything wrong. Of course, the fault lies not in the relationship between the children, but in the relationship between the father and the children. And, when I saw the plot of Christian meeting with his father, I even thought that my father preferred Christian more than his father and excluded Micheal from the banquet list. But as the plot unfolded, I gradually realized that Micheal was just reckless, and Christian was the one with the story. At the banquet afterwards, Christian tried again and again to tell all the facts to the guests, but all ended in failure. After the first attempt, Christian even tried to give up. But Christian friends (hotel staff) supported him, so he continued to insist, and with the help of the hotel waiter, made all the guests believe that the story he told was not what he had imagined, but actually happened. Christian is very helpless. When everyone doesn’t trust him, when everyone keeps an indifferent attitude and selectively believes in their own prejudices, he is like a stone falling into the river, pushing him forward. A silent wave and the death of his twin sister hit him. All of Christian's attempts were fruitless, and it was Linda's suicide note that revealed their father's true face in the end. But the strange thing is that when the facts were revealed, my father became irritated, but the guests did not respond as I expected, but silently looked at each other. Instead, Micheal found his father in the night and punched and kicked him like a vent.
Regarding the reaction of everyone at the banquet to Christian's revelation, I would like to mention. Let’s talk about Micheal first. This is a very personal character, selfish, reckless, machismo, ignorant and simple, and empathetic. He didn't know anything about what happened at home, and never knew the bad luck of his brothers and sisters, so he didn't trust Christian, only thought that Christian had something wrong with his brain. So what he did was simple, blasting Christian out so that he could no longer return to the banquet, and every time he pushed, he said that it was his brother who couldn't hurt him too much. And after the truth was confirmed, his face also showed obvious shock. Micheal's character is very prominent, irritable, bright red. Helene knows the truth, but does not support Christian's exposure. She once asked Christian why he did this. She seems to have been trying to maintain the image of the family and maintain the smooth progress of the banquet. She tried to escape again and again. In the end, Linda's letter came back to her and was read out of Helene's mouth. Helene's role is very fragile. She tries to maintain the surface calm, but after feeling weak, she can only choose to cry, gradually stand up from the comfort of others, and face the overturning of the real edifice. Her color is green. And Christian is blue. However, he was not always melancholy. After the matter was resolved, his life began to brighten, and he began to pursue his love. Regarding the roles played by the guests, it is probably the masses who are sitting on the sidelines. They rejoiced and angered with the lead, sang and danced with the lead.
The story tells the story from Christian encountering Micheal on the way back, and then everyone waits for the beginning of the dinner. The pictures of the three brothers and sisters are cut in parallel, but the combination of the pictures is puzzling. Everyone didn't look forward to the dinner, but they had their own thoughts. Also in this process, the story finally has a new role, the twin sister of Christian who committed suicide. The climax of the story happened at the dinner, and as Christian fainted, it suddenly calmed down. The scene of the dinner is worth studying. The acting skills of the main characters are also very professional. The shaking of the camera lens seems to add to the complexity of our mood. The shooting angle also changes from time to time, and the distance is sometimes remote and sometimes close. The close-up part is where we look at the inner part of the character; the gaze from the corner gives us the feeling of being a bystander. In addition, the movie seems to be very eye-catching, not only from the development of the plot, but also from the combination of the pictures. For example, the last second is Christian's deep and low picture, and the next one is the picture of the guests happy.
