I have watched "My Neighbor Yamada-kun" several times and liked it very much. The storyline of this cartoon is actually a mother-in-law and trivial. Sometimes I think of it, and even feel that it is playing the story of our family. But the haiku after each paragraph and the director's childlike imagination are like a picture frame, they frame the mundane life, and the moving things in them shine like the twinkling of stars.
