All in all, it's a good movie

In recent years, comics have been popular in South Korea for film and television works. Many years ago, when I was still chasing Gudong comics, I saw this IP. At that time, I didn't read the comics, so I never watched the movie. A while ago, I was accidentally recommended that the special effects of hell in this place are very good, so I watched it as a Korean special effects movie. I didn't expect it to be a tear-jerking story.

(There are serious spoilers below, please read carefully)

Korean movies on tearjerking are indeed quite a set. Although I don’t agree with the values in hell when I watch it, it is really novel to combine hell with court trials. In the early stage of the movie, the state of hell was shown, and even the slightest mistake could be convicted. It reminded me of a joke I saw: a person was convicted of cheating in an exam, and then the kid asked him Do you regret it, you can pass the exam without copying it.

Take his first trial as an example. The actor was unable to save his companion who was crushed by the collapsed house because he wanted to save passers-by in the fire. He was arrested and asked why he didn't save his companion. To be honest, this is the situation in the movie: rent It was about to burn and collapse, and the companion was held down by the big object. Seven or eight people might be able to rescue him in a short time. Only the male protagonist would have to die there with his brother. So the beginning shows that the judgment of hell is standing on the commanding heights of morality, and it is a harsh criticism of human life. The next judgment on money is even more morally elevated, and it is easy to make people think of God’s indifference and superiority. I remember a passage of resentment who said that he would choose to be reincarnated as a rich second-generation chaebol, because being an ordinary person is like Still living in hell, it can only be said that the judge does not know the suffering of the people.

The younger brother's death was a bit abrupt and too dramatic, but it was acceptable. I just don't understand why my brother's transformation into a ghost will make hell more evil beasts. First of all, I think it is a bug here. The movie probably wants to express that when the law wants to eliminate grievances and gain peace, what should be done is to exorcise evil, even if it violates the rules.

Then there are the last two evils in the life of the sublimated hero, both of which are for family. Because the male protagonist once thought of killing the whole family to avoid suffering in the world, these two crimes are real, and finally, he was found not guilty by the forgiveness of his mother and brother, although it was easy to cry, but was it a bit hasty? It may also be because the male protagonist is more remorseful, and the final judge is more human, but it still makes people feel a little far-fetched. If you can't meet a powerful messenger, will you be sentenced? If the messenger did not expect to use this illegal method to show the understanding of his brother and mother to him, would it not work? Without one of these conditions, it is impossible to hold, and this situation is difficult to convince.

Finally, I sighed with emotion, as expected of a man who is a leading actor, but his family is so miserable? The old lady's performance is really good.
