Her presence filled everyone with courage.
Ruth Bader Ginsberg (RBG) passed away on September 18, 2020 at the age of 87 due to complications from pancreatic cancer. I work until four or five in the morning every day, I don’t remember to eat, I have two cancers, and I have never stopped working to promote the protection of women’s rights throughout my life. "A lot of people think I'm making a fuss and a good girl is never supposed to ask, so let me be notorious," she said.
As a result, she "notoriously" won 6 cases in the US Supreme Court for women's rights, and it was the first time that the equal protection clause of the Fourteenth Amendment of the US Constitution was extended to the protection of women's rights and interests. She fought for fair pay for women, fought for abortion rights, and made the University of Virginia win an unprecedented number of female students on the first day of school. She told us, "I'm not trying to fight for any sex advantage, I just want the brethren to get their feet off our necks." (I ask no favors for my sex. All I ask of our brethren, is that they take their feet off our necks.)
In my opinion, in addition to non-stop reasoning, what is even more valuable is the spiritual power that RBG has left to the world. Let us see the strengths, characteristics and strengths of women themselves, humor, integrity, tenacity, shining in the human stars.
