This documentary set a suspense for us from the beginning, and the pictures with distinctive style and superb shooting techniques let us know the great photographer Vivian Maier. The director keeps looking for clues about Vivienne Maier through those photos, and through interviews with Vivienne's friends and employers, we gradually get to know her. Most people think of her as eccentric, but that doesn't detract from the fact that she's a great photographer. The photos she took left a deep impression on me, with superb composition, excellent light processing, and perfect timing. In her works, she not only captured the beauty of the street, but also had compassion for the suffering people at the bottom. And with a sense of humor, through the display of photos in the film, we can find that the people in the photos are mostly confident and dignified. Her identity is surprising - a nanny, she has a strong artistic talent, but she is also forced by life. Perhaps under the circumstances at the time, her status as a nanny allowed her to create art. Her works were unknown during her lifetime, but gradually became popular after her death. I originally thought that Vivian might not want to make her works public. Publishing our own works, if not for the director's strong curiosity about these photos at that time, looking for Vivian, maybe we would miss this excellent photographer.
