cat city istanbul

I first learned about the movie through the WeChat public account. I am not a cat slave, and I have long disliked this animal because I think the eyes and teeth of cats are a bit scary. It's just that I read the article of the official account editor at the time and thought it was a bit interesting, so I wrote it down. I suddenly remembered this film yesterday and immediately looked for resources to look at it.
The composition and soundtrack of the film have to be admirable. Each scene is as clean as the sea breeze swept away the dust, making people feel that Istanbul is really a clean and pure city. When I looked at it, I couldn't help but wonder whether these pictures with their own beauty effects depended on the later stage or were given by God. Turkish songs are interspersed in the film. I don't know if they are folk songs, but I think they have an exotic flavor and match the picture just right.
Istanbul is really a cat city. Cats seem to be one of the rulers of the city. They live on the border between the wild and the domesticated, and they are taken care of by people who are free from all over the city, and they retain the nature and individual character of cats while being close to humans. In people's eyes, cats are absorbers of negative energy, a potion to heal the human soul, a part of Istanbul's culture, a spirit that makes people feel the existence of life, and a partner of human beings. Pedestrians on the street walk and touch a cat when they encounter a cat; people who are familiar with some cats can’t help worrying about missing their old faces when they can’t see the old faces, worrying about cats more than themselves; people bitten by cats Or love the cat because of its independent character; a traumatized person healed by feeding a cat; a resident's life turned around by a cat... In Istanbul, cats and people are so closely connected. Cat slaves in the city always have awe and love for cats, and they even worry about the loss of feline sex of some cats. God, if there really is a cat paradise, it must be what Istanbul looks like.
However, with the establishment of a large number of high-rise buildings, the relationship between people and cats has become estranged. Wild cats are no longer as popular as they once were. This reminds me of myself. When I was a child, I liked animals very much. When I raised a quail, I would take it to bed and sleep together. Once at a classmate's house. There is a cat at her house, and at night we just slept together under the covers, regardless of whether the cat was dirty or not. The cat was restless, flipping under the quilt from time to time, and sometimes scratching my pajamas with its paws. It still feels warm and wonderful to recall that night. As I get older, although I still like animals, I will consider whether they have bacteria or not when I approach them, and I can't help but feel a little alienated in my heart. Isn't that the case with man and nature? Nature is the mother, and all life on earth is her children. Humans are undoubtedly great, and human beings have civilization. However, human beings are also animals, and human nature and animal nature coexist in the human body. We often forget our animality, but it's always there and can be triggered suddenly under special conditions, and we shouldn't forget that.
If you love cats and love nature, go see this movie and see the city.

Kedi quotes

  • Unnamed Human Resident of Istanbul: I accept death as a reality but I have difficultydealing with the longing. That's my problem with death.

  • Bülent Üstün: Any ungrateful behavior on their part is really an act of sincerity. They don't need to apologize. I guess there are people who expect that from a cat. "I gave you all that food and you won't even sit on my lap". A relationship where they expect a return on an investment.
