The poster isn't right?

Last night, I watched Kim Ki-duk's [Saint], a powerful but cruel movie. In Kim Ki-duk's view, there is no forgiveness and redemption in this world. The only deliverance from sin and sorrow, the only self-salvation, is death. In a scene at the end of the film, Kim Ki-duk's cruelty is extreme, and it also represents his pure pessimism about the world.
This is a movie that is not recommended to watch. When I saw the poster this morning, it was a metaphor for the Virgin Mary, and I had to say a few words: such a movie that is completely desperate for human nature is completely at odds with the Christian spirit. Redemption and forgiveness are the motifs of Christianity, great human forces. The same theme, the American film "Rabbit Hole", the mother who lost her child finally forgave the young man who caused the accident. Although you can say that there is a world of difference between the young man who caused the accident and the demon who crippled usurers and maimed people in "Saint", aren't they both human? It is also a question of the creator's basic understanding of the world, which is determined by the contamination of culture and religion.
Do you know what religion Kim Ki-duk believes in? There are a lot of Buddhist things in "Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter", and this one also has a scene where the male protagonist who seems to be unrelated carries the monk to see the distant view. I hope he believes something and doesn't take human nature so darkly.
