The perfect man in my heart - Kenshin

Like is a nonsensical thing, for example, I like Kenshin, starting from his cross scar and his name - Kenshin.
In so many anime works, there are countless male gods who are more handsome, tall, arrogant and dazzling than Kenshin, but this knife scar somehow grabbed my heart.

At the end of the shogunate and the changing times in the early Meiji era, although Kenshin was the strongest swordsman, he was still a little guy who was manipulated by fate and the torrent of the times. He didn't have the knowledge and courage to devise a strategy to win a thousand miles, and he didn't have the power and leadership to turn the tide, and he couldn't even be regarded as a personal hero, because his hands were stained with blood. All he has is a sword and a heart to save the country and the people. Using violence to help the righteous side he chose was the only way he could think of when he was just out of the world. He just wants to do the right thing and make the world a little better.

He is a simple and persistent person. Now that he has made such a choice, he will completely seal his feelings, try not to think about anything, and implement what has been decided. I remember Ba once asked him, "Are you going to be a murder tool all the time? Just decide their survival value for others. Oh, no, you even left this to others to do." Kenshin actually replied "If I knew them, I couldn't kill them". This sentence made my heart skip a beat. It's not that he didn't know that it was wrong for him to kill, he chose to bear this mistake voluntarily in order to accomplish the justice in his heart. The lethality of this mistake is likely to be much greater to Kenshin than to other killers, because Kenshin is the kindest! At such a young age, he was able to erect a monument to the murderer of his sister. He hates no one, what he hates is the madness of this age and the sadness it brings. Maybe it was because he couldn't bear the guilt of killing someone, and Kenshin could only seal up all his feelings.

Carrying out the cruelest killing with an extremely kind heart, this contradictory charm is what moved me when I was young with Kenshin.
A person with a compassionate heart cannot be a killer. Since he chooses to be a killer for the purpose of treating this era, he must be a thorough killing tool. This is the simplicity of Kenshin. Knowing that it is darkness and sin but resolutely doing it, this is the bravery of Kenshin.

However, Ba brings to Kenshin the love and accompanying lifelong pain and, more importantly, growth.
Intellectually I told myself that Ba was a beautiful, affectionate, kind and unfortunate woman. Even if you don't like her, you should at least sympathize with her. But emotionally, I really hate her deeply. Because she hurt Jianxin so deeply, although she didn't intend to, she completely avenged Jianxin and let him bear the regret and pain of his life. She doubled her pain back to Kenshin.

Deciding to stop killing people, it's hard to say whether the decision was right or wrong. Once the success is complete, it is impossible to change without sacrifice. Evil committed in the name of justice can really be forgiven? When sacrifice is unavoidable, can it be an unacceptable thing? Is it cowardice to retire from the arena and give up fighting for a just cause? Or is there no justice in this world at all, and only the weak and the strong fight each other?

Regardless of the conclusion. Kenshin decided not to kill again.
