There are logical loopholes that cannot be justified at the end

Rookie blind comment, don't spray if you don't like it.
I have only seen the American remake of Mystery Apartment before, but recently I learned about the original very apartment. If nothing else, I will also take a look at the beautiful Bellucci.
When I just watched it, I was still thinking about the wonderful shooting techniques and plot. But the more I think about it, the more it feels wrong.
Later, I figured out why the American remake had to change the ending: the ending of the original version was very abrupt, and there were logical loopholes that could not be justified.

Sudden one:
Why did Alice suddenly see through the red dust and let it go in the end? This is incomprehensible. For such a long time, Alice worked hard to deceive her friend Lisa and seduce Max's friend, so as to break up Lisa and Max and get Max?
If Alice really felt too tired and hopeless in the end, so she chose to admit her mistake and let it go to achieve Lisa and Max's fate, that's understandable. But in the end, Max threw himself into his arms at the airport, but Alice resolutely gave up at this time, which is incomprehensible.

Abrupt 2:
If Alice's transformation is understandable, then Max's transformation is even more inexplicable.
The movie lays the groundwork for Max's feelings for Lisa. Max has not seen Lisa for two years and has his fiancée, but even so, just because of an uncertain voice and back, Max is crazy The new pursuit of Lisa, and put aside his fiancee and work, shows how deep the old love! But just when he and Lisa were able to reconnect with each other in the end, Max ran towards Alice, which was unbelievable.
What's more, Max just found out that it was because of Alice's despicable and shameless deception that he broke up with Lisa for two years, and also caused him to let his friend wear a green hat into an awkward relationship. How could she accept Alice so easily when she was furious?
Some people may say that he was moved by Alice's persistent pursuit, and also knew that Lisa currently has a boyfriend, Daniel, so it's better to choose someone who loves him deeply. This actually doesn't make sense. Don't forget Max's fiancee, they're all engaged. Presumably, even if the relationship between him and his fiancee is not as good as Lisa's, it's still much deeper than the two-night stand with Alice, right? So if Max doesn't choose Lisa, why should he choose Alice?

So, although I understand what the director wants to express, I think there is a flaw at the end of the film that cannot be justified, which makes people feel very abrupt.

There is only one way to explain these two doubts, and that is that the entire movie process is nothing more than a dream of Max on the plane after taking airsickness pills.
