Donnie Yen is martial arts, Jincheng martial arts is a hero

"In any kind of society, be what kind of person." "Compared to criminals, each of us is an accomplice." Perhaps these two sentences should be the title of the movie. It seems that there are enough reasons for sympathy for the seventy-two evil spirits to turn to the evil sect. Because of various reasons, it has not been unfolded. It can only be guessed in the dialogue between Jiang Wu and Jin Chengwu about their well-known and reasonable dialogue. It seems that the original intention of the movie is to create a world of rivers and lakes like Tianlong Ba Bu, where "no one is injustice, and all sentient beings are sinful", but it did not achieve such an atmosphere. And in such a world, Takeshi Kaneshiro, who insists on his beliefs against the tide, is the real hero, although his plot, especially that of his father-in-law, is too deliberate.

As for Donnie Yen's role, some people don't seem to understand it, although it is not necessarily profound, it just adds distortion. He didn't want to, like Bernie's identity, and suddenly found out with conscience that the story of the horse he told and the story of the butcher's son were facts that turned a corner. A sentence from his brother made him realize. This kind of life can never be compared with the majestic righteousness in the one-armed sword.

Abandoning the pleasure of pure black and white, and unable to fully show the gray world, Chen Kexin's recipe is to use suspense to make up the drama. The first half is also exquisite and fascinating, but on the whole, it is just an optional gimmick. The whole movie is therefore tossed between suspenseful entertainment and the main theme of martial arts, and the last two aspects are not the best. As an entertainment film, it is still qualified, but it cannot be compared with films such as One-Armed Swordsman, even if there are Wang Yu and Donnie Yen's unnecessary copycat One-Armed.
