I went back and checked the rating of the domestic version of "Twelve Citizens", 3 stars, two stars lower than the original. I'm sorry what drove me to make this decision at the time. The Russian version here is just as rambunctious, but I seem to give 4 out of 7. Perhaps, it was the smearing of the light buttocks that made me doubt the value of the movie, or even disdain it. Eating a bowl of vitamin soup is not a long-term plan after all.
