It's too much of a joke. The inference and determination of a person's guilt or innocence is not due to meticulous evidence, but twelve little stories that have nothing to do with the case! ! ! It's ridiculous, so subjective, and the Russian jury is so irresponsible.
The idea of the social issues in Russia that the director wants to express is very good, but it must not go beyond the gist of the film. Did the child kill someone? Friends who gave high scores after watching the video, are you sure? I'm not sure anyway, the reasons given by the jury are completely unconvincing to me.
Is this a movie or a stage play? I am very confused. Most of the performances of the twelve actors are too exaggerated. Are Russians so neurotic in reality? This is entirely the fault of the director. He asked a group of excellent actors to interpret a movie in the form of a stage play, which looked so awkward.
