The unfolding of the film adopts a narrative structure of interlaced ancient and modern. In the memory and dreams of modern archaeological explorer Jack, there are often Meng Yi, a general of the Qin Dynasty who has the same appearance as himself, and a dreamy princess Yu Shu.
In 221 B.C., Qin Shihuang unified China, and he was so powerful that the surrounding small countries competed to donate beautiful women to Qin Shihuang as his concubine. Among them, there was Guoanguo. The general Meng Yi was ordered to go to meet him, but he encountered rebels on the way. Meng Yi fought desperately with the enemy in order to protect Yu Shu.
However, in the end, outnumbered, Princess Yushu fell into the abyss. Meng Yi jumped off at a critical moment, and fell into the abyss with Yushu in his arms. Suddenly, a young man named Jack woke up from a dream. It turned out to be a dream, and he had been dreaming of this scene recently.
The next day, his friend William found Jack, hoping that Jack could help him study the gravity phenomenon in the ancient kingdom of Desha. After a long time of persuasion, Jack finally agreed. They came to the Disha site and slipped in quietly. I saw a sarcophagus floating in front of my eyes. The sarcophagus recorded the story of the great general of the Qin state and the prince of Disha competing with swords.
However, William accidentally took a treasure from the statue, causing the sarcophagus to fall. After the sarcophagus fell, it opened, and a portrait of a beautiful woman fell out of it. Jack seemed to remember that at first Qin Shihuang said he would agree to any request of Prince Disha, but Prince Disha asked Li Fei Yushu, but Qin Shihuang repented, so he cast a stone statue and painted a portrait for Prince Disha to express his apology.
At that time, Yu Shu didn't smile when he was in the portrait, which has been the case since entering the palace. But at this time Meng Yi walked in, Yu Shu immediately stretched his eyebrows and eyes, and the corners of his mouth overflowed with a smile. Jack was recalling, but the worshippers outside chased in, and the two sides fought. Afterwards, William managed to escape, while Jack fell into the water.
At this time, the picture cuts back to the Qin Dynasty again, and Meng Yi and Yu Shu fell into the river under the cliff together, saving their lives. But just after settling down, the enemy attacked again, Meng Yi tried desperately again, but Concubine Li was kidnapped. Meng Yi had no choice but to surrender, fighting back when the enemy was slack and saving Concubine Li, but Meng Yi was seriously injured.
Yu Shu laboriously carried Meng Yi back to the cave and sutured his wound with her hair. Finally, Meng Yi woke up, although the two were very fond of each other, but in the end there was still a difference in respect and inferiority, and the two always maintained courtesy. When Concubine Li was sleeping peacefully, Meng Yi was waiting outside the cave and fainted from the cold. Yu Shu lightly loosened Luo Shan, and used the temperature of his body to rescue Meng Yi again.
Finally, spring came, and Yushu was very happy. Outside the cave, she danced gracefully and danced a beautiful dance for Meng Yi. Meng Yi's eyebrows drooped all the time, and he didn't dare to watch. But in the end, his heart is still rippling, he can't be himself, but he always abides by the etiquette of monarch and minister.
Finally, they got out of the trough and came to the Great Wall, and they were about to reach the capital. However, Yu Shu was reluctant to go to become a concubine, and he hoped to fly away with Meng Yi. But Meng Yi disagreed, because he was the general of Da Qin and wanted to be loyal to the monarch for the country, and Yu Shu had to think about his own people. Finally, Yu Shu agreed to go to the palace and live for Meng Yi.
The picture returns to Jack's side again. He falls into a small river in the valley and is rescued by a girl named Samantha. After waking up, Jack saw the descendant of Disha martial arts and insisted that he and his disciple compare swords. Jack had to agree, he took the sword, as if back to the moment when Meng Yi and Prince Disha were fighting swords again, and defeated the Disha warrior by three strikes and five divisions.
At this time, the believers caught up, and Samantha escaped with Jack. After returning to Hong Kong, William went to see Professor Gu. Professor Gu asked William to stay by Jack's side and go to the Mausoleum of Qin Shihuang to explore the secrets. As for Jack, he had some old things in his mind again.
At the beginning, Qin Shi Huang was at stake, and the army transporting the elixir encountered rebels in the middle. If Qin Shi Huang returned to the sky, Yu Shu would have to be buried with him, so Meng Yi asked to go and retrieve the elixir. After he left, he fought fiercely with Zhao Kuang. He asked his subordinate Nangong Yan to send medicine back, while Meng Yi was surrounded and killed by the enemy.
Soon, Jack and William came to explore the imperial mausoleum together, but Jack was knocked out. When he lay on the ground and found tears in the corners of his eyes, he slowly opened his eyes and a beautiful woman appeared in front of him. Who wasn't Yu Shu? It turned out that when Nangong Yan returned the medicine, he was forced to test the medicine on his own, so Yu Shu and Nangong Yan survived in this imperial mausoleum.
Just as Jack and Yu Shu were walking in the air, Professor Gu and William also arrived, and Jack knew that he had been deceived. Professor Gu came here wholeheartedly for the elixir of life. He defeated Jack and Nangong Yan and went up step by step. As for William, he moved a gem in the underground palace, causing the entire underground palace to collapse, and he was smashed to heaven.
At the last moment, Nangongyan grabbed Professor Gu's feet, and the two perished together. Jack wanted to take Yu Shu away, but Yu Shu didn't want to believe the result of Meng Yi's death in the battlefield, and she didn't believe that Jack was Meng Yi. She wanted to wait for Meng Yi in the underground palace forever. Helpless, Jack had to escape by himself, everything seemed like a dream.
