"I see your life is only 34 years old", the film opens with this, illustrating all of Gilda's principles of doing things. Time does not wait for me, it is fleeting, Gilda used her only 34 years to learn dancing, photography, and film; to love the two most important people in her life-Mia and Guy. This love triangle balances the relationship, as in "Midnight in Barcelona." It seems that Penelope Cruz likes this kind of relationship. In addition, Theron's gorgeousness in the film actually overwhelmed the Spanish beauty, which was unexpected.
