Everyone is in charge of themselves. But can't control others. This is the limited right God has given us.
And this movie is still about love. Mia had said to Guy that Gilda loved him, but that love wasn't on her face. I'm thinking that Gilda is scared because she really loves Guy. She wondered if she was afraid of the fortune teller's prophecy. Or after she had a stepmother of the same age as her and felt the distance of her family, she chose to be independent and paranoid to decide her own destiny. And that indifference to the world.
When war and love coexist, it's mostly tragedy. And the protagonist of this story is even more desolate because of this woman named Gilda.
