After watching the whole film, my feelings about this film are as follows:
1. As a 007 movie with the highest box office in the past, this film contains a lot of gimmicks and high-quality action scenes, such as space battle, the return of the big steel teeth, etc., except for this part, the actual story told is lackluster. The villain’s big boss built such a large base in space, and no one on earth knows that the second degree of the plot cannot be explained by a sentence in the movie that cannot be detected by radar. In addition, BOSS’s plan is to poison the world’s population, and then the hundred people he selected will return to the earth to rule the world. This insight is only comparable to the plots in some American cartoons.
2. The Bond girls in this film can still be seen, and the female doctor's setting also promotes the plot, not all of them are vases. But after the first Bond girl went to bed with Bond, she immediately decided to betray her boss, that is, the BOSS. As expected, she was bitten to death by the BOSS the next day. Bond didn’t know at all. He got on Bond’s bed and got on the thief ship. Like. . . . . . . It's hard to count. This is the first time this vulgar routine has appeared in the Bond series. . . . .
3. In fact, the film was made very seriously, and the budget was also the largest Bond film in the 1960s and 1970s. Several action scenes, such as cable car fight, waterfall chase, skydiving at the beginning, and Venice water chase, all reached a very high level. But the problem is that this one is really overkill. That's right, it's overkill. Although there is a certain exaggeration in the action scenes in the Bond movies (from Dr. Noh's time, until Daniel took office, until Daniel changed his style), there are also many props and cars that are mind-boggling and advanced, but this one is really a big game. Actually, the final battle was compiled into a laser war like Star Wars. I had a good experience in the previous movie, but after Bond went into space, it only made me feel that the sky was rolling, and all the good feelings I had established with this film before disappeared. Especially the scene where the two sides ran out of the spacecraft and the space city and ran into the space to shoot lasers at each other. The level of shock is comparable to some of my celestial dramas!
4. At the beginning of a skydiving scene, one cannot help but reminiscent of the skydiving scene of "Mission Impossible 6". Compared with the two, the audience can clearly feel the difference between the actors and the use of doubles, although they are all real shots. , But Tang Ge personally parachuted and felt the realism is extremely shocking. In this film, he can basically find that he is a stand-in. Bond did not show his face from the beginning to the end during the parachute, so the photographer had to use a telescope or photo. When shooting the back of the actor, the degree of tension and realism is indeed greatly reduced compared to "Mission Impossible 6". Of course, Brother Tom is only one family, it is impossible to ask Roger Moore on this. But the big steel teeth fell from such a high sky to the ground, and nothing happened. This is unthinkable. No matter how strong it is, it’s not like that. The flaws of being too hot have already emerged from the beginning of the movie. Let this movie It really doesn't feel like a spy movie or an action movie, or even a sci-fi movie, but a cartoon.
5. Although Bond has a serious halo and omnipotent protagonist in previous movies, it is too exaggerated in this movie, completely losing the sense of reality, and even has the feeling of watching a certain Marvel comic superhero movie. Bond actually has the ability to drive a spacecraft (although there is a female doctor to help, Bond did not show that he can't drive or need to consult a female doctor, so he still flew to space with the female doctor. You must know Tom himself. He can drive a helicopter, but for the authenticity of the characters, after boarding the helicopter in "Mission: Impossible 6", he also deliberately turned out to be very unlikely), does MI6 train spies on this? Still that sentence, too much.
6. The brilliant appearance of Dagangya in "Underwater City" makes it also appear in "Space City", and increases the character's role, adding emotional drama and whitewashing to it. The key moment is Dagangya. For the sake of love, he created the opposition of the big boss, and finally saved Bond, and finally has a line! But I always feel that the whitewashing is too deliberate, and I fell in love with a strange-looking girl somehow. It’s a pity that Dagang Teeth never appeared in subsequent works after being whitewashed. It may be that the film studio considered that if he joined the Bond side, the Bond side was too strong, or it may be because of the need to change the style of exaggerated science fiction. Because the next "Top Secret" has indeed made a major change in style.
7. In my mind, there are good sentences and no chapters in this film, and all the wonderful points are swept away by the thunder-rolling plot and screen expressions in space. Although "The Ghost Party" is a super lousy movie, the dull plot and slow action do not mean that there is a viewing barrier, and the overwhelming science fiction and cartoons of "Space City" show the reality that people can't stand it. It feels (but it also has a certain cult temperament, and the big scene is real, otherwise it will not set a box office record in the year when it was released), so for me, it ranks behind "The Ghost Party." But compared with "Death of Thunder", not only the Bond girl can't watch (the black Bond girl is really unable to appreciate), even Bond can't watch (after all, Moore was already around 60 at that time), so it ranked before "Death of Thunder", Ranked 21st in all 24 series.
