"Inuyasha" is a Film about Love and being Loved

It took me a few days to finish "Inuyasha", and I saw a lot of comments. I have mixed opinions on this show, and I want to share my views. (Excluding the manga plot because I didn't read the manga)

Let me first say that I have a scene in the TV version. Inuyasha and Kagome (Ali) hug each other. Someone on the barrage sighed "Wanwan Leiqing." My expression is as follows?

The TV version and the final chapter include the theatrical version. Inuyasha admits Kagome twice. The first time was when I first met Inuyasha because the two looked alike (the final was not the same, but the setting was similar), but after a few glances, I could tell the difference between Kagome and Kikyo; the second time, Kagome was wearing a witch costume, and Inuyasha was in In the fog, God recognized Kagome for a moment, but he woke up instantly.

The soul in Kagome is the reincarnation of Kikyo, and Kikyo regeneration is made of ashes and clay. Some people think that Kagome stole the soul of Kikyo, and the kindness that originally belonged to Kikyo was taken away by Kagome... But I think the reincarnation of the soul is more like inheriting "spiritual power".

Kagome's mother is gentle, kind, generous, and lovely in the play, her grandfather is also a transparent and kind old man, and her younger brother is cute and smart, so her bravery and kindness come from her growing environment and family.

The two people have completely different lives and personalities. Only their kindness and responsibility are connected. Kagome and Kikyo are both unique.

Then there was Inuyasha. His father, General Inu, died when he was born, and his mother, Izayoi, was a mortal and couldn't accompany him all the time. Since childhood, he has been isolated by humans and ridiculed by the demon clan because of his identity as a half-demon. The scene where his mother held him in tears when he was a child left him with deep memory.

He wanted to grow up, he wanted to become stronger, and his original intention of looking for the Jade of the Four Souls was to become a big monster who could stand on his own. When looking for the Jade of the Four Souls, he met Kikyo. Kikyo was special to him. He was the first person to tell him, "Tell me your name, and I won't call you a half-demon again."

Kikyo gave him respect and trust, she was the first human being with him beside her mother. They like each other, and Inuyasha is willing to give up his original intention of becoming a monster and use the jade of the four souls to become a mortal and live an ordinary life with Kikyo.
(Seeing that many people are scolding Naraku here, Naraku is indeed bliss. But there will be a setting where the Four Souls Jade has not fulfilled other people's wishes. If Inuyasha makes a wish on the Four Souls Jade, the ending will become How? Can Inuyasha become a human as he wishes?)

As a result, things were not what one wanted. Because of Naraku's jealousy and provocation, the last of the two was sealed and the other was cremated. I think the tragedy of Kikyo and Inuyasha has nothing to do with trust, it has something to do with their growing experience and times.

Many people's evaluation of Kagome is polarized. People who like her especially like her, and people who hate her can't wait to scold her every day.

I like the heroine of her character very much. In the early stage of the TV version, Kagome was smart and brave. When looking for pieces to upgrade and fight monsters with Inuyasha, she was decisive and calm. Before she fell in love with Inuyasha, she did not feel negative, disappointed, or jealous.

(Spoilers for comics fans, Inuyasha didn't say "I want both") In the TV version, I don't hate Inuyasha's concern for Kikyo and the swaying mentality between the two, because these two A woman is too special to him.

If you have to tell someone who he loves more, I will still choose the official match. Because Inuyasha in the later period of the anime can finally mention Kikyo freely in front of Kagome, he will also consider Kagome's emotions before looking for Kikyo.

In the final chapter, Inuyasha is holding the bellflower under the sunset and kissing her when the bellflower's life ends, which is more like a farewell and letting go of the bellflower. Kikyo will not disappear in his heart, it will be treasured in his heart... Not only Inuyasha, but Kikyo also died to destroy Naraku, Granny Maple, Amber, Kagome Coral Maitreya, and many others who were saved by her No one will forget her.

In the journey to find the Jade of the Four Souls, Inuyasha gained friendship, love, strength, and bravery. He is trusted by others, and he can trust others with peace of mind. These things are even more important than Inuyasha's original wish to turn the Four Soul Jade into a big monster.

Coral and Amber, Maitreya and Coral, Sesshomaru and Suzu, the experience of Sweetheart Shiro, and even Naraku's jealousy, all show one human nature one after another. Because of love, people divide and combine. Naraku's conspiracy succeeded because of love and failed because he fell in love with someone else.

The whole work, every story, and every character is very meaningful, and I pay tribute to Mr. Takahashi again.

Inuyasha quotes

  • Kagome: [after Miroku observes that Inuyasha isn't such a bad guy] Miroku is right. Inuyasha could have killed the artist, and ended the trouble in one blow. But instead, he spared the man's life and went straight for the ink pot. Yeah, I guess Inuyasha's all right. He just doesn't know it yet. I might tell him, someday, if the time is ever right.

  • Inuyasha: [thinking about Kagome] As long as she's alive and well, that's all I hope for. I can't bear to see another woman die.
