After "The Thin Red Line", my favorite art-oriented war-themed movie, I'm just sorry if I don't say a few words. The first thing that catches the eye is the black and white tone, but it's actually a taupe brown. The picture retains a strong contrast, and the contrast between light and dark is hard to miss the double-sidedness of the mayor in "The Dark Knight"-abstract and obvious hints of the contradictions of the characters' personalities. Herold went from being a "poor" deserter to being cruel and cunning. Hubacher accurately grasped Herold's psychology, fear, pity, and brutality took turns in battle, and vividly interprets the hypocritical indulgence of the fake captain. In addition, I have to say that the acting skills of the actors exploded. Not to mention the lethal eyes and subtle facial movements of the leading actors, the performance of the group actors alone can throw off other war-themed movies a few streets away. Especially at the end of the film, the naked man who could not be named fell to the ground after being shot, and he couldn't help but tighten his body, lamenting that it is not easy to be an actor. And the most memorable scene is the scene where Herold organized the group to kill. Very special, the director arranged two scenes, the first scene is Herold's calm on the surface, followed by the second scene is Herold's inner fear and roar. It is not uncommon for this kind of method to visualize the heart, and it has left a great impact (shadow) on me in "Return from the Hospital", but the strong contrast here pushes Herold's true heart to the front, more A bit of sarcasm and absurdity. In addition, the whole film uses a lot of character/background contrast, as well as a natural and just right zoom, which not only moves the lens smoothly, but also enhances the audience's active immersion. Breaking away from the exaggerated and fake tradition of many war movies, "The Fake Captain" can be said to have achieved the script (in fact, the real story is changed), the acting skills, and the pictures are all excellent. Of course, such an excellent movie deserves five points decisively. PS: This film can be described as extremely open, you can see all kinds of naked men and naked women, of course, including our lovely protagonist Herold.
