When human nature is not bound by morals and laws, it shows what it looks like. Many people say that the captain is an extreme example, but I think this is one of our ordinary people. It's just that we are tied up for various reasons in our lives. Maybe we are just an employee working silently in the company. No chance to bully others.
When a person's status rises, and we look at those leaders, those with high social status, their humanity is often exposed. It's hard for them to find a reason not to bully others, this is the nature of our pursuit of status. Raising status and grabbing more resources is also what makes those who bully more sexually attractive. Even people of equal status are in competition, and we all hope to improve our position in the environment by bullying people of equal status.
These are inevitable by human nature, and like bullying that often occurs in schools, those who bully others are more likely to be those who are more psychologically mature. They have mastered how to make friends and unite all forces that can be united to exclude others from gaining access to those cherished resources.
More often we have mastered the rights we desire and have formed our own groups in schools, companies or more. It can be our means of protecting ourselves, or it can be leverage to bully others. At this time, the word kindness is even more valuable. We can bully others or not.
