Democracy needs the wisdom of the people

The referendum was originally democratic and fully demonstrated the public opinion. But the public opinion of the people is not necessarily good. It can be said that leaving the European Union with a slight difference of one million votes is basically half and half, which is not what the vast majority of people think. I always think about Greek democracy, which ended in demise. People are often easily manipulated. In the play, Domi has been emphasizing Turkey and 350 million pounds of dues, giving the British people an illusion that they will be able to regain control after leaving the European Union, which is sharply provocative.

Most of Britain's frustrated people want new opportunities through Brexit.

To say whether I envy or not envy Britain's democracy, I should be yearning, but I don't adapt to China's physique. I feel this way from the bottom of my heart. (Maybe it's the Chinese-style education that influenced me.) In an old capitalist country like the UK, public opinion can't correctly guide the country's direction. But still a country that longs for this kind of freedom of speech.

ps didn't mean to say anything, just wanted to post this picture.

I thought a movie about politics and economy would be boring, but it was unexpectedly good-looking, not very serious, and also had a lot of British humor. The meaning behind Brexit is very profound. The so-called personal will under big data has long been manipulated. The self-proclaimed democracy is actually someone else making decisions for you, the reasons for leaving the European Union worth knowing, and a new Benny film worth watching (the last sentence, the hairline of British men is really worrying, and the hair loss in the film: Unreasonable War should also be interesting)

In the era of big data, your every move on the Internet is being analyzed by others. After reading it, you are horrified. You think your mind is free, but in fact you are always being controlled. You think this is a democratic choice, but in fact it is still impossible. Get rid of the control of capital.

Brexit quotes

  • Dominic Cummings: ...as a global society we are entering a series of profound economic, cultural, social and political transitions, the like of which the world has never seen: massive increase in resource requirements, rising tide of religious extremism, the synthesis of the generational inequalities in the West on an historic level.

  • [first lines]

Dominic Cummings: Great Britain makes a noise. Did you know that?
