Best personal drama of the year

I really didn't want to give 5 stars, but I gave it anyway.

When I saw the third episode, I was completely convinced by the screenwriter and actors, and kept recommending it to my friends. Although the atmosphere in the early stage was already depressing, I thought this was just a daily drama with a position and discussion. After reading all of it, I immediately went to tell my friends that I was wrong and don't read it. Because it was too uncomfortable to watch, this kind of discomfort once appeared when watching the first season of Black Mirror.

The whole show is full of negativity and powerlessness. Stubborn old school thinking, family tormenting each other, extreme rhetoric in the tavern, even the love part is pessimistic, and then after you see a little bit of experience before everyone in the last episode and understand where it all came from, Still can't sympathize, even though you know the cause of their current personality, still can't make up for the hurt in the story that's happening now.

I don't want to discuss the harm of childhood shadows to people. The whole drama shows more negative energy in daily life.

Excellent actors, excellent screenwriters, intentional setting and recording of the stage play, so that the whole story is real without being too real, this is what I particularly like, and it is also the only way to get rid of depression, when watching I devote myself wholeheartedly. After watching it, I am relieved. Some of them are just thanks to the actors and not into emotions. This is the reason why I finally decided to recommend 5 stars.

Horace and Pete quotes

  • Pete: I said I have a good memory, not that I have good memories.

  • Rhonda: I have been around long enough to know that men can only make two contributions to my life. They can lift things and they can fuck. I don't want to know you. I don't want to date you. I don't want to move in with you. I don't want to meet your mama. Fuck me... move my furniture.

Horace: Where do you want it?
