The Lebanese film "You Only Owe Me An Apology" (aka "Shame") could be in my top three of the year. Last year, my favorite foreign-language film, "Love Can't Tell", also abdicated, hehe. This film is too high-level, starting from small things, and covering issues such as ethnic hatred, refugees, and religion. And in the case of taking into account both depth and breadth, it is really amazing to be able to shoot clouds and waters. I especially like the actor who won last year's Venice Best Actor for playing a Pakistani refugee because of this film. It is very distressing to see the calm and layered performance in the depression. I still think "The Incredible Woman" won the best foreign language film, it's incredible, well.
