When I was a child watching the news network, there were always several place names that came up repeatedly: Gaza, the West Bank, Damascus... In fact, to this day I don't know why they are always fighting. The film gives a more concrete example than a 1-minute report.
I don't understand the geopolitics of the Middle East, and I don't dare to talk nonsense about the cause of the conflict. But it can be seen from this movie that the situation here is very sensitive, and the slightest disturbance can ignite people's emotions. The war is over, but there is no reconciliation within people.
It is difficult for countries and individuals to walk out of history, because too many unexplainable things are involved. Practitioners are more willing to put it aside and leave it to future people to decide. In the end, the old lawyer said that only by facing history can we solve the problem. Disagree. When the parties are still alive, when they really face each other, the victim may want more than the other's two ribs. The film calls for love and peace and tolerance and understanding. However, the hatred of killing the father and the hatred of the wife, or the deeper contradictions, is not so easy to write off.
Sometimes when I see ethnic conflicts and racial conflicts in other countries, I always feel that my country is very lucky. Personally, my lack of experience limits my imagination of conflict. Of course, we have our own hard-to-recite sutras, but most of them are not as desperate as gasoline bottles and human flesh bombs. Most of our conflicts can be resolved with money. A contradiction that cannot be solved with money is definitely a big contradiction.
The film is full of commercial flavor, so that a weak chicken like me can easily watch it. There's always a balance between seriousness and entertainment, and I love where it's at.
