"Political riot over a drainpipe"

The first time I watched a real "external subtitle" movie, I was really not used to it at first, but from about 5 or 6 minutes, when the two protagonists broke out for the first time, they basically integrated into it. The story began to ferment from a small quarrel, and a political riot was triggered due to the long-standing contradiction between the two ethnic groups of Lebanon and Palestine under "coincidence". The most exciting part of the story is the conflict in the court trial and the ending of the meeting and the end of the grudge. The editing is compact, the context is clear, and the tension of the characters is remarkable. In war, it is always the common people who will be hurt in the end. The lawsuit of the two protagonists was originally caused by their stubborn personalities. They are victims from a large political environment, and a trial that rises to a political level will never have a satisfactory ending. But the ingeniousness of the story is that it pulls back from the big picture to the balance point of the two people. Overall, I personally think that this is an anti-war movie that promotes human nature, and it is worth watching. Personal score: 8.5 points.

From a trivial daily gap, "Shame" moves from a two-line analysis to a multi-line grand narrative. The dramatic conflict is constructed by two extreme characters with symbolic qualities. Aside from the "post-historical" problem limited to the reality of Middle Eastern countries, it It shows how people are symbolized and socialized. Christians, Palestine, and even Israel that didn't appear. The real subject and object, though ubiquitous in the film, disappear in the courtroom drama.

BJIFF's wonderful Lebanese film, this year's Beijing Film Festival is finally in the sand! Combined with overall quality and popularity, this is this year's Outstanding Citizen. Even if you don't understand the historical conflict between Lebanon and Palestine, it will not affect the look and feel, and the fast-paced and informative plot will supplement the relevant background. Several court scenes were full of intensity, the emotions were in place, the reversal was reasonable, and the reconciliation between the two men was straightforward and unambiguous.
