convenient. After years of bloody storms, the underworld leader decided to pick up a promise he made to his lover. The lover of that year, still wearing the bright red dress of the year, sits on a park bench every Saturday, holding two bento boxes, waiting for his lover. He didn't say that he was the lover, just accompanied her time and time again and ate the bento she made. She said that her boyfriend won't come, but it doesn't matter anymore, because, he will come.
Idol. A youthful and beautiful young idol with many fans, and he is just one of the more common ones. Then, the idol had a car accident and quit the music scene, not wanting to let anyone see his appearance. In order to see her, he looked at the idol's photo album, remembered her last appearance, and then blinded himself. When he came to the idol as a blind man, the idol accepted him and sang the song he used to sing along with his harmonica.
Binding belt. This is the strongest metaphor in the entire movie. In front of his parents, he gave up the one he loved the most and wanted to marry the daughter of a certain president. She chose to commit suicide, but failed, in exchange for an abnormal mind. He eventually returned to her, but she no longer had that thing called a smile. He connected himself to her with a red rope and traveled the world. Little by little, she saw the fragments of her past love again, and in the end, she hugged and cried with him while holding the necklace he had given her in the neck.
Happiness, it seems, is always short-lived.
The underworld leader was shot to death after eating his lover's bento. His lover had to wait again, keeping his promise.
The blind fan eventually died in a pool of blood. He was originally a traffic policeman and died in a traffic accident. The idol continues to sit by the sea, waiting alone.
The two men tied with belts finally fell off the cliff, hung on a dead tree, and gradually died.
Just like the beginning of the movie, the man who manipulated the doll gradually disappeared, and the doll's stiff face suddenly had a sad look, and then gradually faded.
However, they are all love dolls. Or, just a doll of fate. Even so, he lived the life of such a doll without any regrets.
Takeshi Kitano's films have only been seen so far, one is "Bad Boy's Sky" and the other is this "Doll". His films rarely have lines, and the shots are very expressive. Stagnation makes people think and feel sad.
