This work feels really special, so special that I, who almost never write drama reviews, want to write something
My first impression of the whole work was, This is the way. That's right, it's that famous quote from The Mandalorian
Although the experience of the Cole family was bumpy, the screenwriter did not arrange any reversal of the plot, but let everything go with the flow, plain and even a bit detached
After the whole drama is over, it will make people feel as if something is missing, but then they will feel that life is really like this, there are not so many miracles, and there are not so many turnarounds.
I can't really feel the struggle between characters and destiny in this drama. It's more like a diary, it doesn't need any embellishments, it records everything that happens along the timeline, that's all
I admire the mentality of the characters in the play very much. They are very peaceful. No matter how difficult it is, they can always find a solution in the end, even if it is not a perfect solution. An anxious person like me needs to be open-minded about life.
This is a soft sci-fi work (personal opinion), but the sci-fi elements serve the plot
The original meaning of Loop in this play, I think it refers to the life of generation after generation, although it is different, but macroscopically it is like one cycle after another. The addition of sci-fi elements is just to make this topic, which seems to have been discussed countless times in countless movies and TV, become a little different
Devs (personal understanding), which are also soft sci-fi, all plots serve the big concept of the decisive world. Not to mention hardcore works like Altered Carbon (personal point of view), the entire story background is based on science fiction, and all the plots are based on new social rules in the future.
The biggest feature of this play is "slow". However, I still insisted that there is no need to speed up to read it. The plot progresses slowly and the characters speak slowly. Perhaps this is more in line with the original Nordic style
A cup of coffee, the sound of the rain outside the window, leaning on the soft sofa should be a perfect match for this drama
As a photography enthusiast, I have always believed that a good photographic work should be extended to give people room for imagination
This drama is not like other works, you may forget it after watching it, it makes people aftertaste, sweet, astringent, or bitter. Everyone may be able to find their own shadow in this play
