some children grow up reading various famous novels when they are sensible. Like Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tales, he read The Adventures of Tom Sawyer a bit more, Journey to the West a bit more, Water Margin Three Kingdoms a bit more, and a bit more...
Then one day he read "EVA Broken".
Some children grow up reading various comics when they are sensible. For example, Doraemon, read the Dragon Ball a little bit, read the Detective Han Yuliang a little bit, read the Detective Conan a bit more, read a bit more...
Then one day he watched "EVA Broken".
The two eat different meals, walk different paths, and have completely different life paths, and there is a moment where they meet. Is "EVA Broken" in their eyes the same? Is it really the same point where parallel lines meet bizarrely? Did the two really meet?
Everything is intriguing.
I have followed EVA all the time, from comics to TV to various OVAs. I will occasionally review it when I have nothing to do. The EVA Encyclopedia Post Bar and other major camps have my footprints. It is not unreasonable to understand EVA. And now to make an evaluation of EVA, that is:
I admit to myself, but I haven't understood it yet.
This is not self-deprecating or satirizing this work, but with the growth of experience and the improvement of professional skills, I gradually realized the level that was not recognized before. Therefore, there is the current doubt about whether he understands it.
The first is the animation itself, the storyboards, rhythm, color, special effects of the work... everything is breathtaking. If you don't have a certain understanding and fanaticism about aesthetics, you can't see these, at least I am in the art of art. After understanding a lot, I really feel the charm of EVA animation itself. And I believe that there is still a lot of wonderful content that I can't find at my current level. This point is a little mysterious, but it is naturally understandable to understand.
The second is the animation plot, the main line need not be mentioned. The details in it can be said that the more one grows, the deeper the experience. This is a film where every line is ordinary and ordinary, and every sentence can touch the chord hidden in the bottom of my heart.
The third is the handling of details. What shocked me this time was that Ritsuko Akagi snuffed out the cigarette in the ashtray. It was only a 1-second close-up. The ashtray was full of cigarette butts, with a faint red mark on it. I suddenly thought of Ritsuko's lipstick. In the animation, a character is never directly given a specific character, these are directly reflected from the details.
It's a masterpiece. Before watching this work, I always thought that making a movie in 3 years, how slow can it be? After watching it, it is a miracle that a movie can be completed in 3 years.
