Charlotte and Webber - If Life Was Just Like It First Seen

Lian Yue had pushed this book before, but I haven't read it. I've been listening to the book for the past two days. After listening to the whole thing, I thought it was really cute, so I went to the movie to watch it. Webber, who laughs in the movie, is super cute, and Charlotte really makes me discover beauty as a spider.

first encounter

It tells the friendship story of a spider, Charlotte, who saved a pig Webb and two little guys by spinning a web. It's a children's book, but it's not.

I don't know if it's because it's a children's book, so many emotions are very pure. It was the little girl's love and companionship for the initially malnourished Webb. It's Weber and Charlotte's pure friendship and trust, they don't care, because you are my friend, so I help you. Because I like you, I want to be your friend.

In fact, the most impressive thing is this:

When everyone was reluctant to play with Weber and be Weber's friend, Charlotte said, "I've been watching you for a long time, I like you, I'll play with you."

When everyone knew that Weber's final fate was silent, Charlotte said, "I will save you, and I will definitely show you winter."

"I'll never break my promise." Charlotte initially promised Weber, and she did it—even with the strength of her life, even with her pregnant body.

Every word from "some pig" to "radiant" to "humble" took Charlotte's care and effort.

Until the end, Webb kept crying and asked, "I've done nothing for you" Charlotte looked kindly, "You be my friend, that's what you did for me, there's no point in a spider just weaving webs and eating flies. Yes, being your friend makes me feel like my life has meaning."

Charlotte believes that because he is a friend, because he has a friend, because of this relationship, he feels that his life is valuable.

So, can the value and meaning of life lie in the love and relationship you have with those around you?

I don't know, we spend our entire lives searching for meaning in life, and I've been hearing about it all the time. It seems that no one can give an answer, but everyone always has a little bit of feeling and standard.

"There will always be someone who will be your sparkle." This sparkle doesn't come from waiting. Just like the friendship between Weber and Charlotte, or even between him and the animals on the farm, Weber is not decadent. He wants friends. Go ask if anyone wants to be his friend or if anyone wants to play with him. It was because of his search that Charlotte saw him.

"Every word I weave is true." Weber is indeed a pig that has always been different, and it is precisely because of Charlotte's belief that she believes that Weber is radiant, that Weber is humble, and there is nothing better than a friend The trust between them is even more comforting.

But in the end it was kind of sad. It would be great if life was just like the first time, and it would be great if Charlotte and Webber could play together forever. It looks so enviable and warm.

Charlotte's Web quotes

  • [Templeton is being chased by two crows and finding shelter inside a tin can]

Templeton: The rat... is not... uh, uh, enjoying this! All this for slop? The rat is desperate. The rat is trapped. The rat needs to stop calling himself "the rat".

  • Wilbur: [about Charlotte] She's dying! She can't go home with us. So I need you to help me take her egg sac with us.

    Templeton: Did you say "eggs"?

Wilbur: It's an egg *sac*, and it's right up there, and it has her children in it. And I can't just leave it here. What if something happened to them? Now, I can't reach it, so I need you to get it for me. And I need you to do it *now*!

Templeton: I don't think I like your tone.

Wilbur: Can't you just once in your life think of someone other than yourself?

    Templeton: Once? Once?

    Wilbur: Come on.

Templeton: No, *you* come on! Who got his hindquarters pecked to make you "radiant," huh? Templeton, that's who. And who interrupted the gorging of a lifetime so you could be "humble"? Why, I think it was... Templeton! Templeton, Templeton, Tem-ple-ton! And do I get thanked? No! Well, has it ever occurred to you that even a rat might like a little appreciation? A little, dare I say, *love*?

Wilbur: Do it and you'll get dibs on my slop for the rest of my life.

    Templeton: Done.
