Shouldn't have come back

Jonathan Demme-esque trickery is making a comeback. As the camera shakes, various characters appear, each with their own thoughts, trying their best to hide, and even their smiles seem far-fetched. All this, no matter how you look at it, is incompatible with a happy and festive wedding.
The song is all gone, and I silently send Kaim away, why do I feel that the back of this departure is so depressed and unbearable, why can't I feel the slightest joy and happiness, why do I think Demme's footage is so cruel, even that bit of disguise Happiness was taken away mercilessly. Then he threw it to the ground, and stepped on it hard - look, this is life. Perhaps, it is cruel, precisely because it is true.
I always felt that Kaim shouldn't come back, more or less. In fact, what Kaim tried his best to ask for is the recognition and attention of his close relatives, whether it is the competition for Rachel's bridesmaid, or insisting on wearing a gray dress to highlight his position, without exception. It developed to the extreme, so we saw that Rachel and her father were rehearsing the wedding with puppets representing relatives and friends, and Cam persevered and asked where the puppet representing himself was placed. Rachel, seemingly casually, excluded Cam from the inner circle of friends and family. It's not so much that Kaim won, it's more that she lost. The inner rejection, the huge gap, cannot be cured by a superficial form.
The psychological rejection of close relatives may not be because they don't love Kaim, but maybe they are just afraid of her truthfulness and sharpness. She is like a huge alarm bell, always reminding everyone that the ghosts of dead relatives linger. Or more like a knife, tearing open the happiness that everyone is trying to disguise at all times, allowing crises and complaints to raging and unstoppable.
In fact, Kaim's position has long been clear. She is the permanent missing person in the family. Once vacant, it will never be complete. Or, she is the happiness that cannot be found. Since she leaves, there will be no time to see the sun again. Therefore, Kaim can only go and continue to lose. In this way, disguised happiness and tranquility watch over this fragile home again.
Many things are lost and cannot be returned. Happiness is very strong, and happiness is also very fragile. This is what Demme wants to tell us, there is a state in life called cruelty, and there is a gesture called determination.
