It seems that the future world in all movies is a highly developed and civilized city with high walls, and a wild place surrounded by it. Human beings can never achieve harmony, and there are always aliens. And the mutual hatred and slaughter between them doesn't even need any reason. With the advancement of science and technology, the relationship between people is getting worse and worse, which is really a retrogression of civilization.
There are a lot of Chinese elements incorporated into the film, but it doesn't make sense, why do you speak Chinese, why do you write Chinese characters, and why not, it seems that it is just to add mystery to Western audiences, but it makes Chinese audiences feel nondescript. Especially when Kaylee finally mourned her dead friend at the cemetery with the big "hi" character on her chest, God, I don't know if she knows the meaning of this word.
