The main line is messy and has no layers, but it is still a good musical work!

I have always liked musicals. Switching from the opening scene of the "audience selection" to the singing and dancing in the restaurant gave me a lot of expectations. Of course, the expectations did not become reality after all! Slightly disappointed...

but the flaws are not concealed, the music in the whole film is still very touching. The plot in the middle of the film is slightly without layers and no main line.

The 58-minute "try" is my favorite. Asher Book's voice is especially suitable for singing small love songs. There is also a "beautiful girl" that is also very good. I recommend it to everyone!

A film about living in reality, pursuing dreams, and returning to reality. High school life, college? want to cry. Because it has persisted.

The story is like boiled water, there is no major conflict, the singing and dancing are average, and the characters are cut off halfway, making it very inexplicable. I just prefer the part where the teacher sings on stage.

  • Mr. James Dowd: Everything you're ashamed of, all the parts of yourself that you keep secret, everything you want to change about yourself - it's who you are. That's your power. Deny it and you're nothing.

  • Jenny Garrison: There are some things success is not. It's not fame. It's not money or power. Success is waking up in the morning so excited about what you have to do that you literally fly out the door. It's getting to work with people you love. Success is connecting with the world and making people feel. It's finding a way to bind together people who have nothing in common but a dream. It's falling asleep at night knowing you did the best job you could. Success is joy and freedom and friendship. And success is love.
