One cannot step into the same river twice

Loretta is really pitiful. She was lost in childhood, stumbled half her life, set up a family, and lost her husband and children in middle age. To me, it's not quite sci-fi, just tales. The fourth and fifth episodes have very few sci-fi elements, which can be established in any story, not necessarily in this small town. The graphics and soundtrack are very good. This mix of past and future, a little bit of steampunk, coupled with the open scene, makes people look very comfortable. I don't know if loop has a symbolic meaning or it's just the name of this company. Generally speaking, the plot is weak, telling about the little things in life, and each episode is also connected by small fragments of words. The first story, a mother who didn't want to be a mother, I don't know if Loretta regrets it, but she must have understood Alma when she heard her childhood self tell her Cole that she didn't want to be a mother either. It could be a loopback to her fulfillment of her promise to Cole at the end. The second story, which I personally think is the class difference, is ironically what Jakob doesn't want, but Danny wants.

The third story, the so-called eternity, is actually fragmented and vulnerable. How to maintain intimacy?

In the fourth story, Cole faced the death of an important person in his life for the first time and found himself powerless about it.

The fifth story, the mid-life crisis, the helplessness and bitterness of the bottom people.

The sixth story goes back to intimacy. The so-called perfect lover actually has imperfections, and the person who was imperfect at the beginning may be the perfect lover.

The seventh story, is the so-called monster the robot on the island or his playmate?

The eighth story reminded me that one cannot step into the same river twice. In fact, it's mainly about ending the first few episodes, but I still don't understand how the robots fought and why... The writer killed Jakob for the ending, and ended up with tears, right?

Overall, it's pretty good, but as a sci-fi, it's still a little weak, and the plot and logic are lacking. But the way the story is told, the grass-snake-grey thread is also very good.
