The overall color of the war movie is dark, and most of the shots are night scenes. It is reasonable to say that it is not suitable for three-dimensional shooting, but the lighting is good and clever, and the two-hour movie is completely different from the previous 3D movie. The kind of dim feeling, the control of technology is definitely there.
For the content of this movie: great wars, heroic battles, touching stories. I recall all the time the Stalingrad defense station that changed the pattern of World War II 70 years ago. It was a great and just war, so the five fathers of the protagonists got together and started to stand firm to defend their homeland. At the end of the movie, it seems to hear the touching cry of Comrade Wang Cheng in "The Heroes and Children": For victory, shoot at me!
The only thing that moved me in the film was the two women who were born in Russia but had different fates. One was protected by German Nazi invader officers, only to be sniped by his own countrymen. Another was loved by many Russian soldiers living in the cold and became a survivor of the war. If you understand these two women, you can understand this movie and see through this war.
