Like the last "A Dog's Mission," it's an adaptation of a novel by W. Bruce Cameron. As mentioned in the title, it can be said that it is a road movie with a dog as the protagonist. On the way home, what partners and what happened, and after two and a half years of searching for home, the dog has also grown. Although the animals in the film can't speak, the protagonist's dog Bella has a narration, which is convenient for the audience to understand the plot. It is a good family film, and children can also understand the behavior of dogs. The Colorado scenery shown in the film is very beautiful, and if there is no narration, the bland rhythm may be a bit documentary. Bella's little friend, the cougar, is synthesized with special effects, and the special effects shots are still relatively realistic. Road movies are a good theme for growth education. Everyone has to walk through life on their own. There are hardships and friendships along the way, but every companion is a passer-by in life. Only the home ahead is the final spiritual harbor.
