After watching "A Dog's Way Home", this film touched my heart more than "A Dog's Mission".
Originally Bella lived with the mother dog and the cats. After the dog mother was taken away by the Animal Administration, the cat mother raised Bella to survive. One day, young Lucas found Bella and decided to adopt her.
The scene of Lucas and Bella playing in the snow is very touching, they are special, cheerful and tacit. And Lucas' mother-veteran's depression is getting better because of Bella's enthusiasm. Coincidentally, other veteran depression friends who were in the depression group treatment with Lucas' mother also benefited from Bella.
But the good times didn't last long, and Lucas offended the Animal Protection Agency for protecting the cat population. Their city of Denver doesn't allow pit bulls, and Lucas sent it to a friend's house 400 miles away. But Bella's heart is to be with her master Lucas. It decided to go home.
Bella went through hardships, traveling through Colorado, walking through forests, mountain roads, starving, and learning survival skills with stray dogs. On the way, I met a little cougar - its mother was orphaned because her mother was hunted, Bella raised the little cougar just like the cat mother raised it. Until later Bella was besieged by the wolves, and at the juncture of being eaten by the wolves, the cougar rescued her.
But the love of Lucas, the master in his heart, has always been in Bella's heart, and it still has to go back to Lucas. Leaving the Cougars and returning to Denver on the highway, Bella was injured, and the injured Lucas finally found Lucas in the Veterans Hospital. With the help of the Veterans Depression Group Treatment Cohort, Lucas received a dog waiver.
Lucas lives with Bella and a girlfriend.
