In the past, most of the comments said that the heroine was calm, planned with a black belly, and succeeded in revenge. It was a pleasure to see her tearing scumbags and scumbags.
However, after watching the whole season, I only saw a woman standing on the edge of a cliff, ready to fall. She was deeply injured. Under the reaction of strong stress, she held on to not let herself collapse, her mind was running at a high speed, and she responded randomly.
What she faced was not only the betrayal of her husband, but the collective betrayal of the so-called "friends" in the whole town. Even, in the eyes of her son, she is a scary crazy woman.
She is kind, tough and hardworking. What did she do wrong? Her fault is that she is too good. Even if she doesn't do anything, she makes others feel that she is despising herself.
So, her husband cheated and she didn't get a "sorry". Even in the end, the apology from that "girlfriend" and "good colleague" was just an excuse for herself so that she would not feel guilty.
Many people say that the heroine won. I don't see where the win is at all.
The ex-husband and the third go to London to start anew, and she will continue to live in this small town that betrayed her.
Many people complain about the heroine's performance in the second season, but I'm not surprised by her so-called "abnormal". Her collapse is the normal response. She clearly cared so much and suffered so much damage, yet she allowed herself to stay in this small town and be a lonely warrior. Wouldn't she feel better if she was willing to follow the old doctor's advice, leave, and start over?
I agree with the heroine's initial actions, which is to collect evidence of the other party's infidelity, understand the financial situation, and protect what she should have.
But what is the real win? Tear each other up? Publicize it? Wanted revenge? Or aggrieved?
I think the real winner should be having a good life.
